Dr. Vijesh Krishnamoorthy is an accomplished academic leader, researcher, and ICT professional with more than 15 years of international experience across higher education, corporate training, and academic administration. His career spans India, Papua New Guinea, China, Ghana, and Malawi, reflecting a truly global contribution to teaching, research, and leadership in the ICT domain. He currently serves as Chairperson – Department of Information Technology and Computer Science at the Innovative University of Enga (Papua New Guinea), where he leads curriculum innovation, program development, faculty mentoring, and industry engagement, ensuring alignment with global standards and accreditation frameworks.

- Successfully led academic and industry partnerships, driving employability-focused ICT education across multiple countries.
- Published Scopus-indexed research in areas such as Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs), Smart Agriculture, Cloud Computing, and Data Mining, with a focus on predictive analytics and ICT for sustainable development.

- Completion of Grade 12 Higher School Certificate with passes in English, Mathematics, and a Science subject (ICT/Physics/Advanced Math preferred).
- Minimum GPA 2.6 (subject to DHERST cut-off adjustments).

How to Apply
School Leavers
Apply through the National Online Application System (NOAS) administered by DHERST. Select BSc Applied IT as your preference.
Non-School Leavers (NSL)
Submit application directly to the University with certified transcripts, GPA evidence, and supporting references.
International Students
Submit transcripts, passport details, English proficiency evidence, and police clearance directly to admissions.
Pay the application fee and meet the DHERST/University deadlines (usually Aug–Sept for Semester 1 intake).
